Host verification

We verify the people behind every listing. Hosts can submit a government-issued ID (national ID, passport, driver's license) for identity verification. For property verification they provide documentation proving they control the listed address. Our team reviews every submission. Verified hosts display trust badges on their profile and listings.

Photo fraud detection

Fake photos are the most common scam in online rentals. We fight them with technology:

• EXIF data analysis: we check the GPS coordinates embedded in photos to verify they match the property location.
• Reverse image search: we scan uploaded photos against the web to detect images stolen from other platforms.
• Flagged photos go through manual review before the listing goes live.

Reviews you can trust

Our review system is designed to stay honest:

• Only verified stays can generate reviews — both guest and host must confirm the stay happened.
• Reviews are revealed simultaneously so neither party can retaliate.
• Reviews cannot be edited after 48 hours.
• We never delete negative reviews unless they violate our content policy.

Secure messaging

All conversations happen through our messaging system. That means:

• We keep a record of everything discussed.
• We detect and warn when contact info is shared, so you know when a conversation is moving off-platform.
• If something goes wrong, we have the history to help investigate.

Reporting & moderation

See something suspicious? Every listing, profile, message and review has a "Report" button. Our team investigates all reports and applies measures, including suspending listings and banning users.
