Is it safe to rent through AlquilerLaManga?+
We take safety seriously. Hosts can verify their identity and property documentation. We automatically check listing photos for fraud. Our messaging system keeps records of every conversation. Since payments are arranged directly between you and the owner, we still recommend using payment methods with buyer protection and never sending cash or wire transfers to someone you haven't met.
Do I need an account to browse properties?+
No. You can browse all listings, view photos, check availability, and read reviews without creating an account. You only need a free account to send an enquiry.
How do I pay for my stay?+
Payment is arranged directly between you and the host. We do not process payments. Discuss payment terms clearly in messaging before sending anything, and use payment methods that offer buyer protection where possible.
What if the property doesn't match the listing?+
We encourage guests to leave honest reviews after their stay. If you believe a listing is fraudulent, use the "Report" button and our team will investigate. We verify listing photos with EXIF analysis and reverse image search to catch fakes before they affect guests.
Can I cancel my booking?+
Cancellation terms are agreed between you and the host. Since we don't process payments, cancellation policies are set by each owner. Clarify the terms before making any payment.
What does "verified" mean on a listing?+
"Identity verified" means the owner submitted a government ID that our team reviewed. "Property verified" means the owner provided documentation (e.g. a utility bill) showing they control the listed address. Verified listings are more trustworthy, but exercise normal caution with any online transaction.
For hosts
How much does it cost to list my property?+
Creating a listing is completely free. Up to 30 photos, your own prices, full calendar control — no fee. We only charge a small fee through tokens when you reply to a new enquiry.
What are tokens and how do they work?+
Tokens are used to reply to enquiries. Your first reply to each enquiry costs 1 token. Follow-up messages in the same conversation are free. New hosts get 20 free tokens. After that, packs start at €4.99 for 10 tokens — far less than the 15-25 % commission other platforms charge per booking.
How do I get verified?+
Go to your Verification page from the host dashboard. Upload a clear photo of your government ID for identity verification, and a utility bill or property document for property verification. Our team reviews submissions within 1-2 business days.
Can I list multiple properties?+
Yes. Up to 10 properties per account.
How do I set seasonal pricing?+
In your listing's calendar you can create pricing seasons ("High season", "Low season"…) with different nightly, weekly, and monthly rates. You can also override prices for specific dates.
What if a guest causes damage?+
Damage arrangements are between you and your guest. We recommend including a security deposit in your booking terms and making it clear in your house rules.

What languages does the platform support?+
Spanish and English. Hosts can add listing descriptions in both languages.
How do reviews work?+
After a confirmed stay, both guest and host can leave reviews — star ratings plus a comment. To prevent retaliation, reviews stay hidden until both parties have submitted theirs (or 14 days pass).
How do I report a problem?+
Use the "Report" button available on every listing, profile, message, or review. Our team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.
Is my personal information safe?+
We take privacy seriously. Your data is protected under GDPR. Identity documents are stored in encrypted private storage and only accessible to the verification team. See our Privacy Policy for details.
